On the 10th of June, 2024, Safety Campaign Ghana conducted a comprehensive safety training session for the drivers of Melcom Group at the Tema Freezones Warehouse. The training aimed to enhance the safety awareness and driving skills of the warehouse drivers, focusing on critical areas such as speed limits, vehicle measurements for cargo, defensive driving, hazard awareness, blindspot management, and fatigue management.
The training covered the below area(s):
1. General Speed limit
2. Vehicle measurement limits for Cargo
3. Defensive Driving concepts
4. Hazard awareness
5. Understanding blindspots
6. Fatigue management
The safety training conducted by Safety Campaign Ghana was a valuable initiative to enhance the driving skills and safety awareness of the Melcom Group drivers at the Tema Freezones Warehouse. By focusing on crucial aspects such as speed limits, cargo measurement, defensive driving, hazard awareness, blindspots, and fatigue management, the training aimed to reduce the risk of accidents and promote a culture of safety among the drivers.
